State YGTTA Table Tennis from Aug 22
Bhubaneswar: Young Generation Table Tennis Association (YGTTA) of Cuttack would host the 22nd YGTTA Odisha Open Table Tennis Championship at Sachin Tendulkar Indoor Hall, Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from August 22.
In the three-day long tourney, players would participate in 10 different events. Youth (below 20 years), Boys, Sub-junior, junior, cadet boys and girls single events and sub-junior boys double would be the categories. This would be the first tournament of the year and the selection of players for different national level tournament would be held on the basis of their perfermance.

State-level chess fest from Aug 29
Bhubaneswar: SR Chess Center in association with Cuttack District Chess Association under the aegis of All Odisha Chess Association would host the All Odisha Chess Festival in Cuttack from August 29 to 31. The tournament is featuring total cash prize of Rs 32,000. The players would participate in the U-6,8,10,12,15,below 20 years and veteran categories.
