Odisha lad among top 20 Cambridge law students
Bhubaneswar: Dhananjaya Mishra, younger son of Pramode Kumar Mishra, who is the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, has preformed very well in the Master in law examinations at the Cambridge University this year. Having secured first division, Mishra bagged position among the top 20 out of the 200 students in the batch. He will return to Delhi next month to resume his legal practice.
Allahabad Bank holds builders’ meet
Bhubaneswar: A builders’ meet was organised by the Allahabad Bank here on Friday with the bank’s Bhubaneswar zone zonal head Dinesh Kumar presiding over the event. Kumar said the bank offers housing loan up to Rs 3crore at a base rate 10.25 per cent. The housing loan proposals are sanctioned and disbursed in a period of less than six days, he added. Builders suggested various ways to improve the scheme and make it more penetrative in the real estate market.
