State KDTTA Table Tennis from Oct 18
Bhubaneswar: Khurda District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) is all set to host 8th State level KDTTA Table Tennis Championship at Sahid Nagar Indoor Hall here from October 18 to 20. The players from all districts and affiliated unit would participate in the senior men, women, junior, sub-junior, cadet , boys, girls and youth boys singles event and sub-junior boys doubles categories. KISS to meet Xavier in Cricket final
Bhubaneswar: KISS would meet Xavier School Khandigiri in the final of the 12th Bhubaneswar Inter School Cricket Tournament 2013 at Unit-II Girls High School Ground here on Friday. In the semi-finals on Thursday, KISS and Xavier edged out Sai International School and DAV Unit-8 by 76 r7uns and one wicket respectively. Hritik Roy of the Xavier scalped four wickets and restricted Sai International for 113 runs in 21.2 overs. In reply, Xavier reached the winning target for the loss of nine wickets. Hritik of the winning team bagged the man of the match award. In another match, Tukuna Himirikra and Uankar Murmu of KISS scored 46 and 42 runs respectively and total reached 169 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 25 overs. In reply, the discipline bowling lined of KISS restricted DAV in 98 runs in 21.2 overs and Tukuna of the winning team received the man of the match award.
