Motorcyclist killed in accident at Jajpur
Jajpur: A motorcyclist, Balaram Dalei (22), was killed in an accident at the Badachana Chhack on NH-5 on Monday. He belonged to Khaira village under the Badachana police station in Jajpur district. The incident occurred when a speeding Bolero hit his motorcycle.
Thriveni Earthmovers’ gesture for U’khand
Keonjhar: A Thriveni Earthmovers team recently went to Uttarakhand and handed over a cheque of Rs 31 lakh to Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna for relief of the Himalayan tsunami-hit people. The team consisted of the company’s GM, CSR Col Sangram Mohapatra and AK Patnaik. “We have also extended our help of sparing some of our equipments for restoring the damaged roads,” said Col Mohapatra.
PBl trainees donate for Uttarakhand
Phulbani: A total of 103 PBl trainees of DB Tech contributed their bit for the cause of the suffering people of Uttarakhand. As the trainees saw the Himalayan tsunami-affected people of Uttarakhand on TV, they decided to collect money to help them. They said, “If the Government helps us by providing fee and job-driven training, why can’t we help the people of Uttarakhand.”
