FM radio station at Srimandir soon
Puri: Thousands of devotees now can listen to the devotional songs and spiritual programmes based on the Jagannath culture soon on radio as the Puri Jagannath temple administration has approved a proposal to set up its own FM radio station. This was decided at a temple managing committee meeting chaired by Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingh Deb on Monday. “Jagannath bhajans and other spiritual programmes will be aired on the radio twice a day in the morning and evening,” said Chief Temple Administrator Arabinds Padhee.

Pujari joins as Secretary of law
Brahmapur: Satrughna Pujari has joined as the new Secretary of the Department of law of the State. The post of Secretary in the law Department had been lying vacant since about four months. Earlier to his appointment, Pujari was working as the District Judge at Brahmapur for Ganjam and Gajapati districts.
