Pallahara forest personnel arrested two persons from the Nizigarh Reserve Forest under Barakudar beat on April 24 while they were hatching a plan for poaching wild animals.
As many as 10 to 15 persons were present at the spot while the raid took place; but except the two taken into custody, the rest fled. Forester Vimsen Satpathy led the squad.
The arrested were identified as Narayana Hasda alias Titu and Mangal Tubid who belong to Tamper village. They were forwarded to court on Sunday and after their bail petitions were rejected by court, they were sent to jail.
