Two more Covid warriors succumbed to the virus in Ganjam district on Sunday. They were Hinjilcut Municipality Tax Collector Dhanurdhar Swain and Dhumuisahi gram panchayat Sarpanch Muralidhar Pradhan.
“We lost two of our Covid warriors. The entire district administration is with their families. We request all people in the district to follow social distancing norms. By doing this you will help our Covid warriors in fighting this war,” said Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
“Their dedication and devotion towards service set an example for others and inspire others in the war against the pandemic.” added Kulange.
A couple of days ago, an Assistant Engineer of the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) had died after being infected with the virus while discharging his duty.
