Two persons were killed and five persons, including a kid, were injured after a car they were on board overturned near Tinku ghat in lahunipada on Wednesday afternoon.
Seven persons in a Maruti Alto car were going from Barbil to Pallahara on Wednesday when at around 2 pm, the car overturned at Tinku Ghat under Tensa police outpost.
After getting information, the Tensa police officials rushed to the spot and sent the deceased and injured to the lahunipada CHC. The deceased were identified as Dashma Godra (35) and Muna Nayak, driver of the car. Both were residents of Pallahara. Out of the five injured, two critically injured were sent to a hospital at Rourkela. The car was seized and an investigation was on, said SI AK Sahu of Tensa police outpost.
