The police in Paradip arrested two youths and forwarded them to court for allegedly issuing forged medical certificates required
for local workers in industries and Government jobs.

According to police sources, Gopinath Tarai's son Deepak Tarai (31) and Keshav Tarai's son Kalandi Tarai (27) of Dalimbipur village under Abhayachandpur police station copied the signatures of Dr Basant Rout and Dr Prasanna Kumar Samal of the Government hospital in Paradip and sold them at a high price. As Paradip's industries require health
certificates for their workers, the two youths were selling fake medical certificates.

On receiving information from a source, Paradip Model police station officer SL Pujari raided a computer center used by the duo accused and seized fake certificates along with computer equipment used to forge certificates. A case was registered in this connection, informed Pujari.
