In a tragic incident, two labourers were killed and another sustained severe injuries as a patch of earth collapsed over them during a digging work at Saradhabali near the Khodasingh Main Road here on Thursday afternoon. The mishap occurred when a machine was digging a 10-foot deep channel to connect water-pipe to a house with a deep tube-well on the road side. A large patch of earth subsided suddenly and four labourers, who were standing there, got dumped in the wet soil. While two were found dead, another labourer sustained injuries and the fourth one was unhurt. The deceased were identified as Baburao Sethi of Nauli village and Tukuna Pradhan of Jhadankuli village.
