Anjali Jain, a travel enthusiast from Rajgangpur, has hosted the Tricolour in the Sar Pass which is at an altitude of 14,000 feet. The Sar Pass is in Parvati valley of Kulu district of Himachal Pradesh.
The trek is mostly on snow and one has to pass a snow frozen lake.
Taking one’s own backpack with almost 8-9 kg and walking uphill almost 60km in 4-5 days, surviving temperature with minus degrees and having been suffered from high altitude sickness, Anjali could complete it with full enthusiasm.
Being a fitness freak and a weight trainer, she too trained herself before the trek.
