The Bajrang Dal held a membership drive here on Thursday to include more numbers of youths and strengthen the organisation in Odisha. The main motto was to inculcate patriotism among the youths and stop cow smuggling and slaughter.
Dal Central coordinator Manas Mohanty inaugurated the programme and informed about the plans of the organisation in Odisha ahead. About 1,478 youths from Ganjam, Gajapati, Ghumsar and Kandhamal took membership of the Dal. Ganjam district coordinator Goutam Maharana, VHP Ganjam district president Ashok Kumar Palo and district corordinator Bhavani Sankar Das, among others, were present. Sanja Patra and Dharma Raju Reddy were appointed as Bajrang Dal district co-coordinator and Mahanagar coordinator respectively.
