The State Transport Authority has stated that 123 new vehicle pollution testing units, which were granted licences after September 1, would issue Pollution under Control (PUC) certificates till December 31.
These units have been linked with the VAHAN database. PUC certificates issued by these units would be reflected on mParivahan mobile phone application.
On the other hand, PUC certificates obtained from pollution testing units which are not linked with VAHAN database cannot be viewed through the application. Vehicle owners having such PUC certificates need to carry the physical document with them. Such pollution testing units would be allowed to issue PUC certificates till December 31.
