Twelve eminent persons in the fields of education, health, culture, language, religion and social service would be felicitated with the Guru Pranam Samman-2014 here at the premises of the Buddha temple on January 6 by the Swami Dayananda Service Mission (SDSM).
It was announced at a news conference here by SDSM chairman Aryakumar Jnanedra. The selected persons would be felicitated by Swami Siva Chidananda Saraswati and Swami Gaganath Saraswati.
Those tobe honoured are doctor Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, poet Subas Chnadra Nayak, spiritual organiser Surendranath Mohanty, former headmaster Tribikrama Mohanty, spiritual organiser Kasinath Sahoo, Gourahari Satpathy, Denabandhu Rath, Rahasa Bihari Mohanty, Ranindranath Singh, Banamali Mohanty, journalist Baidyanath Parida and social activist Rabindra Kumar Parida.
