Even after 11 days of the broad daylight murder incident at the Jagatsinghpur RD Division office, police are yet to nab the culprits involved in the crime. Meanwhile, the police have picked up eight suspects from several locations and interrogating. But the main accused is still at large. Notably, Somanath Das, who was working as security guard at the RD Division office, was brutally killed by a few miscreants inside the office premises 11 days ago. Sources said, Das who hails from Chatra village, had come under the wrath of a few local anti-socials involved in tender fixing and regularly visiting the RD office for extorting money from some unscrupulous officials regularly.
