: The Odisha Special Educators’ Federation for Divyang (OSEFD) Khordha district held its meeting in Bolgarh under the chairmanship of district president Elora Priyadarshini Mohapatra on Saturday.
In the meeting, OSEFD State treasurer Raupya Ranjan Samantaray, State IT Cell coordinator Biswabijayee Dash, district joint secretary Ashwinee Muduli, organiser Jyotiranjan Baliyarsingh attended and discussed to strengthen the organisation in the district.
The Supreme Court has ordered the appointment of special educators for CWSN students in every general school. So, the federation urged the State Government to appoint permanent special educators in every general school as soon as possible by which Divyang students can get better education and join the mainstream of society. The federation hoped that about 6,000 aspirants would be benefited if special educators were appointed in the State.
