PNS

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha is likely to award marks to the +2 students this year on the basis of their performances in the matriculation examinations.

CHSE Vice-Chairman Tushar Kanti Tripathy said marks secured in the matric examinations are the best criteria for allotting marks to the +2 students.

The expert committee would submit a report in this connection to the CHSE. The report would be given to the State Government, which would, accordingly, take a final decision in the matter. Notably, the Government has cancelled the +2 examinations-2021 in view of the Covid-19 situation. A 14-member expert committee was then formed to suggest alternative evaluation criteria for awarding marks.
