In the 75 years of India’s Independence (Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav), a “Surya Namaskar for Vitality” camp was organised in the premises of Biju Patnaik Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital here on Friday.
A brief meeting was held over which college Principal Prof Gyanranjan Mohanty presided. The faculty members, students and employees of the college proactively participated in a Surya Namaskar Yogasan Camp. Former Principal and renowned homoeopath of the city Prof PK Pati also graced the event.
Among others, noted yoga guru Ganesh Sahu and his expert associates explained to the participants about the significance, impact, benefits of Surya Namaskar and practised yoga along with other participants and the audience showing the various steps through practical demonstrations for better understanding of the participants.
