Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu has launched the ‘Mo Chhatua’ mobile app and website for transparency in distribution of Take Home Ration (THR) and improvement in quality of chhatua under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme.
Through this app, the ICDS Supervisor will send online indents of Anganwadi Centres to the CDPO, who in turn would send online approval of the same to the SHGs making chhatua.
SHGs’ activities like purchase of ingredients and mixing would be tracked on the MIS and dashboard for better monitoring, said an official. A day has been earmarked for mixing of ingredients when the Supervisors will be present and upload pictures using the app. All chhatua-making units would be geo-tagged.
The website/MIS/application will facilitate real-time monitoring of indenting, production and distribution of THR and payment to SHGs producing the same, added the official.a
