Utkala Bikasha Juba Parisad president and Netaji Subhas Birth Soil Yatra national convenor Debiprasad Prusti has urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to make it mandatory for all Government servants and peoples representatives including MLAs, MPs to admit their children in Government schools to bring a qualitative change in the scenario. Prusti in his letter mentioned that the Allahabad High Court has already ordered for admission of children of MLAs, MPs and officers in Government schools so as to enhance their quality.
Prusti also decried the way corporate social responsibility funds are spent. He said 90 per cent of the CSR and DMF funds are spent in an improper way in areas like Talcher, Angul Rourkela, Koraput, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Jajpur. Prusti promised to extend his helping hands if the Chief Minister accepts his proposal.
