The Freethought Party of India (FPI) holds the view that film actress Kangana Ranaut should be taught an unforgettable lesson in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Those who are very much annoyed with the remark of Ranaut on India’s freedom should join hands from now on to tell her the truth by defeating the BJP in the elections, says FPI general secretary B Ramchandra CST Voltaire.
Ranaut has said India got its real freedom in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and that put BJP leader Narendra Modi in the office of Prime Minister.
“If the BJP is defeated in 2024, let us see what would be the reaction of Kangana Ranaut. Kangana must be told that independence is not always gained with bloody wars with loss of life and property, Voltaire states. On December 26, 1991, Mikhail Gorbachev dissolved the Soviet Union as its President; and as a result, 15 countries: like Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, etc., gained independence overnight without any bloodshed, he points out.
