Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attending the 4th Convocation of the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar on Saturday requested Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to introduce a dual degree of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and IIT, Bhubaneswar.
Pradhan said the Jammu IIT and the Jammu AIIMS provide a four-year dual degree. A medical and engineering degree would be helpful for the students of medical and engineering
Pradhan congratulated the 40 students who got gold medals and said as the son of a doctor, he knows about the responsibility of doctors. Their affection and caring attitude would help in the recovery of patients.
He advised the AIIMS authorities to conduct robotic operation using 5G technology. He advised the students to plant at least 5,000 trees in the campus a year.
