The Manav Adhikar Surakhya Manch in its 78th Ghanta Yatra (cymbal beating rally) held here on Monday demanded that the RDC (SD) indentify the MKCG Medical College Hospital land and construct a boundary wall as per the land records to prevent encroachment. The Manch in a memorandum alleged that the MKCG land which is encroached by influential people including senior doctors, businessman, land mafias and builders can be utilised to for expansion of the hospital.
Manch coordinator Abani Kumar Gaya also alleged that even if doctors’ quarters are in the hospital premises but yet many doctors for to run their private clinics are residing away from the campus and for which they quarters are lying vacant or are misutilised. He also demanded to take action in the matter and direct them to reside in their respective Government residences in the campus.
