PNS

On behalf of the Red Cross State Protection Committee, its convenor advocate Dillip Dashsharma met Governor Prof Gnaeshi Lal on Thursday and discussed about the financial and administrative irregularities going on in the Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha branch and urged him to take remedial measures.

Dashsharma alleged that no monthly meeting of the society is being held since last 11 years and the “Red Cross” name is missing in the blood banks. Prof Lal assured that good days are coming for the State Red Cross, said Dashsharma, who also presented two of his books “Red Cross Katha” and “Swechhakruta Raktadan” to the Governor.
