The ICSI-Bhubaneswar Chapter organised a seminar on “Recent Amendment under Companies Act, 2013” here on Wednesday. Gracing as chief guest, Principal Commissioner Sanjeev G Dewalwar spoke on simplified GST procedure and how the traders, Government and people are benefited through the system.
He said that the Company Secretaries professionals can play a vital role in creating awareness about the benefit of GST.
The seminar was deliberated with the topics like Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, MSME sector, NCLT and Recent Amendments under the Companies Act, 2013 wherein ICSI Central Council Member CS Siddharth Murarka,
Nalco Director (Finance) CA Sridhar Patra, former MSME Secretary Panchanan Dash, Supreme Court Lawyer Biswajit Das, ACC Ltd Company Secretary Ramaswami Kalidas spoke.
ICSI-EIRC Kolkata Vice-Chairman CS Priyadarshi Nayak, CS Soumya Sujit Mishra, CS Jyotirmoy Mishra and CS Rajendra Kumar Kar also addressed the gathering. The programme was attended by professionals, corporate executives and students.
