The Pradesh Congress Committee on Wednesday said it has not issued any list of MLA candidates to the media and, thus, a list found published in social media and some newspapers is totally false.
“The Pradesh Congress Election Committee recommended names of 44 MLA candidates to the party’s central screening committee on October 1. However, no list was issued to media. The list published in certain social media and some newspapers is totally false and meant to mislead the media,” said a party release.
