‘BJP cannot digest Rahul’s popularity’

PNS

Pradesh Congress Committee president Sarat Patnaik on Friday said the party accepts the Gujarat High Court’s decision not to grant bail to Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case, but the fight through judicial process would continue.

Rahul Gandhi is fearless, and one who continues his fight in truthful and nonviolent manner. Prime Minister Narendra Modi amd Home Minister Amit Shah are not able to digest Rahul Gandhi’s popularity after his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The Congress is disappointed over the Gujarat High Court‘s refusal to grant a stay on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s two-year conviction  in a defamation case.

Pradesh Student Congress members led by its president Yasir Nawaj went in a rally from the Congress Bhawan to the BJP office here and held a demonstration. They also burned an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yasir said that on Modi’s instructions, a conspiracy has been hatched to throttle the voice of Rahul Gandhi. People of the country know that the democratic institutions are in the pocket of Modi, whose industrialist friends have looted people’s money in banks. This was exposed by Rahul Gandhi.

He also opposed the “misuse” of CBI and ED by the Central Government against rivals. So, efforts are on to disqualify Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership and send him to jail, said Yasir.
