‘Angul, Dhenkanal to get piped gas by October’

PNS

On Sunday, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan sought public support, as the Prime Minister will lay foundation stone for renovation work of defunct FCI fertilizer plant in Talcher at a cost of Rs 13,000 crore on October 22.

Besides, Pradhan revealed that the work of LPG supply through pipes will reach to Angul and Dhenkanal towards the end of October. That will be his Laxmipuja gift to the people of two districts.

Moreover, Pradhan expressed grave concern for non-co-operation of the State Government for the NTPC at Gajamara and for completion of water supply projects to nine villages and Joranda Gadi shrine, even though the ONGC is prepared to spend Rs 20 crore for the water supply project at Joranda.
