The annual function “ZYONAR 2013-2014” of PCDS and RC was held from December 5 to 8 at the campus of People’s College of Dental Science. The Vice Chairman of People’s University VK Pandya inaugurated the programme on December 5. The function was supervised by Dean PCDS Dr N D Shashikiran. The organizing committee was headed by Dr Rucha Kashyap Gulati.
The Function had various number of participations in many categories of cultural, arts, crafts, literary and sports.
The various competitions included –calligraphy, collage, salad decoration, mehendi, nail art, sketching/ painting, face painting, soap carving, sari draping, hair styling, flower decoration, photography, advertisement, gift wrapping, dental art, dumcharad, antakshri, poetry, mimicry, singing, dancing.
The sports events were – volley ball, cricket, kho-kho, chess, carom, athletics, basket ball. Both students and staff have actively participated.
The FUN-FAIR was held on December 7. The chief guests were Megha Vijaywargiys, Director HR, IT and logistics, People’s group; Mayank Vishnoi, Director, PG Infrastructure, People’s group; and Capt Ambrish Sharma, Director, Administration, People’s group. The fun fair was conducted with full zeal and zest and was a great success.
