Dressed in colourful dresses the students of Geetanjali Government Girls college spread the rich colours of Indian culture and tradition on the third day of Yuva Utsav 2017 on Friday. The students depicted the art and culture of Indian classical music and dance on stage beautifully.
The college students of the city showcased wondrous performances at the college level fest ‘Yuva Utsav 2017’ Geetanjali Government Girls College, Bhopal.
Under the college level fest various cultural activities are being organised and the students from almost all the colleges of the city have participated enthusiastically. Notably, the fest is being organised with a motive to enhance the co-curricular skills of the students and to encourage their enthusiasm towards a healthy participation.
Here, the students presented classical dance forms. The students presented various spell binding performances. As the youngsters were presenting a great show, the audiences watched them with rapt attention and were enthralled with the dedication and purity the students performed the classical dance forms.
Also a ramp show showcasing the rich tradition of India was held. The students were dressed in fizzy shades of each State of the country. On one hand there were the colours spread all over and on the other hand the students showed the spirit of Indian soldiers and their families through dance performance that grabbed much appreciation. later, a quiz competition was also organised. At the quiz competition the participants were asked about various questions related to general knowledge testing their IQ level.
The students under various categories bagged the prizes for the best performance. It was an enchanting experience for the performers as well as the audiences.
