Depressed over suicide by girlfriend a 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling late in the night on Wednesday; girl and youth committed suicide in their homes at Chandbadi and Sunder Nagar under Chola Mandir police station area.
Sakshi Sahu of Chanbadi was found hanging at her house in the evening on Wednesday while her friend Deepak Vishwakarma committed suicide late in the night.
The family members of girl came to know about the relationship with Deepak. In the initial investigation it was found that Sakshi was in relationship with Deepak who lived in Sunder Nagar.
Soon after the girl’s suicide surfaced and Deepak came to know about the information his behaviour changed and fearing that he might take any untoward action his uncle Jitendra Vishwakarma took him to his house.
Late in the night when Jitendra went asleep Deepak committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling. The bodies were sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Initial investigation revealed that Sakshi left her studies and used to remain at home and during which she became friend with Deepak who used to live in the nearby area. The two developed relationship and family members of Sakshi became aware of the fact which lead to the whole episode.
The family memers were not accepting the relationship or there was other reason behind the suicide and would be investigated.
