Youth Cong prefers milk to NaMo tea

Staff Reporter

To get connected with the common man on the lines of Narendra Modi, the Congress workers in the State capital organised Rahul Gandhi (RaGa) milk programme. During the programme, the Congress workers offered milk to the local residents.

The programme was organised by former District Congress Committee leaders Monu Saxena and Manoj Shukla.  In a joint statement they declared their RaGa milk programme as a reply to Namo tea that was meant to spreadcommunalism. “On the contrary, our Raga milk is a gesture towards spreading harmony and brotherhood among the citizens,” they added.

The Raga tea was distributed among the citizens at the Rangmahal talkies square. Both the Youth Congress leaders accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of misleading citizens, as Namo tea was used by the party to cover up the development works of Congress. They also blamed BJP of creating differences among the citizens on communal basis. The Congress party is concerned with the welfare of common man and highly committed to maintaining communal harmony, while the BJP goes exactly opposite, they alleged.

The leaders stated that the BJP is scared of the upcoming general elections as graph of all sorts of crimes be it against women, corruption or others, has constantly been high in BJP’s tenure and voters are questioning the State Government in this regard. On the occasion Girish Shrimali, Vikki Khongal, Shaqeel Qureshi, Manoj Saoudhiya, Mithilesh Wakode, Sheikh latif, Ekjot Singh were present.
