To let the urban youth explore the lifestyle and tradition of rural India, a team of youngsters travelled to Gujarat's village. The most impactful trip is being organised under an event ‘Go Rurban’.

This camp began in rural parts of Gujarat on June 14 and continued till June 24. The youngsters who participated in the camp are back with lots of learnings, understandings, aspirations to do more and more.

It is to be noted that Go Rurban is a social event organised jointly by youth organisation Ansh Happiness Society and Ekta Parishad.

Notably, it was the Seventh youth camp under the event Go Rurban organized with the objective to know about the life in rural environment. Founder member of Ansh Society Mohsin Khan said, "Till now we have done Go Rurban camps in Madhya Pradesh but this is the first time we have moved out of State."

Mohsin informed that the camp includes interaction and living with the nomadic pastoral Maldhari community, participating in their national parliament and an interaction with Gandhian thoughts at the banks of Sabarmati River in celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Kasturba and Mahatma Gandhi.

The basic idea of this camp is to explore the shortcomings and highlights of both the urban and rural lifestyle. It is organised with this purpose only.

Elaborating more, he said, “It is only through this exploration that we can build a bridge between both the ends and can actually be the combination of both rural and urban, Rurban.”
