A suspicious case of suicide by a young woman who allegedly ended life by hanging from ceiling surfaced at Akbarpur, Kolar; family has raised allegations that thier daughter's death was not a suicide.
In the investigation no suicide note has been found and on the other hand, according to the family members, when the dead body of the girl was found hanging, her feet were touching the ground.
Along with this, a mark has also been found on one side of her neck. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, a police team has been set up and immediately sent a forensic team to the spot.
According to the police, the matter is currently being investigated, the body has been sent to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem.
Kalpana's elder sister Sakshi told that family had gone to Ujjain. Both younger sisters Sunita and Kalpana were at home. Sunita had gone out for work, Kalpana was alone at home. When Sunita reached home at around 8 pm, the main door was locked from inside and when Kalpana did not open the gate after not picking up the phone and calling for a long time, Sunita called her friend and went inside where all the doors were open and she was found hanging. Thereafter, she was immediately taken to a hospital where the doctors told that Kalpana had died four hours ago. After which the matter was reported to the police.
Kalpana was supposed to go to Ujjain on Sunday itself but she refused to go saying that she is having a severe headache so she will not go.
ASI Kolar Police Station Police Sunil Tripathi said that investigation is going on. The body has been sent for postmortem. Forensic team has also been sent to the spot. It will be known only after the report of mobile and autopsy.
