Staff Reporter

Condition of law and order is really worrying in the state, said State Congress president Arun Yadav during his visit to Hamidia hospital to meet a minor Dalit rape victim of Sagar on Friday in the State capital.

A 12-year-old Dalit girl was raped on October 3 in Sagar region. Since her condition became deteriorated she was referred to Bhopal. The girl is still in coma and under observation.

Yadav raised concern over the increased anti social activities and failure of the system to curb crimes across the State. Criminals are wandering and committing crime without any fear of police and administration. Unfazed of the worsening situation of law and order in the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is busy in pleasing business big wigs. It is unfortunate that Chief Minister is not interested in addressing issues regarding increased number of crimes.

Warning Chief Minister Chouhan, Yadav said that Chouhan should take measures to maintain law and order which would decrease and even put an end to crime against woman maintaining the dignity of women in the state. Chouhan always avow on woman empowerment but the increasing number of crimes against woman reported reveals the truth of their tall claims about the deteriorating law and order condition of the State. He demanded an immediate compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the victim that could help the victim to cope from the trauma and provide her financial stability in future. During the visit State Woman Congress President Mandvi Chouhan, former Mayor Vibha Patel, state Congress Vice President Manak Agrawal, Congress state spokesperson KK Mishra accompanied Yadav.
