A World Bank delegation here on Thursday met Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department Manish Singh.
On this occasion, the Principal Secretary while discussing with the delegation said that all the World Bank assisted projects would be completed on time. Efforts are also being made to fully comply with the standards related to Safeguards in the projects.
Urban Development and Housing Department Commissioner Nikunj Srivastava said that the construction of the World Bank assisted Shahdol sewerage project would be completed by December 2022.
Raghu Keshavan, Task Team Leader, World Bank while expressing satisfaction over the work of the projects said that connecting all the households with sewerage network in Dharampuri is a significant achievement.
He also appreciated the soft part of the projects. He also described the contribution of Reform Support Consultant in the bodies better. Wridhiman Saha and DM Mohan were also included in the delegation of World Bank. Additional Managing Director Ruchika Chauhan, Chief Engineer Deepak Ratnawat, Deputy Project Director Technical PC Jain, Technical Officer Shri Kamlesh Bhatnagar, Assistant Project Officer Sanjay Pandey and other concerned officers were present in the discussion.
