A two-day workshop for cooperation at hospital level in crime investigation was  organized at Jaiprakash Hospital with members of the Police Department, Health Department, Childline and UNICEF.

Separate meetings with gynecologists to attend all rehabilitation situations better than children, such as during the medical examination of a victim of sexual assault.

Regarding the long time taken in the medical examination and the materials etc. to preserve the fetuses, their points were discussed with the doctors.

Doctors shared that apart from the main hospitals in Bhopal district, there are medical arrangements at the PHCs as well, all the police stations should get medical done at the local PHCs, but this does not happen, due to which the burden on the main hospitals increases.

We have to put this process into practice. In relation to preserving the fetus, the doctors told that they do not have any such box and other means available, for this there is a need to lobby the Chief Medical Officer and at the state level.
