A 27-year-old unmarried woman was sexually assaulted and exploited for the past 6 months in the name of marriage by a railway loco pilot; MP Nagar police have registered a case and started investigation.
Police said that the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Deepak Mohe who went missing after the complaint was lodged. The victim hails from Betul and used to work at a private firm in Bhopal.
In her complaint victim stated that accused responded over her profile on a matrimonial site. She exchanged contact details and later in the month of May they decided to meet at a hotel in MP Nagar. The accused took the victim to the hotel where he sexually assaulted the victim and lured her of marriage. Later the accused dropped the victim at her house. He continued to sexually exploit her for the past six months and later when she asked for marriage he refused to marry her and threatened her of life. The victim reported the incident to the parents and a complaint was lodged with the MP Nagar.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and started search for the accused who went absconding.
The victim lives in a rented apartment and hails from Betul. She works with a private firm and has made a profile for marriage over matrimonial site which the accused checked and responded. Details of the accused are been searched.
