A 22-year-woman committed suicide by jumping into the well along with her baby after having fight with her husband to return home at Shapura village under Parwalia Sadak police station area on Monday.
As soon as she jumped into the well, to rescue her, the locals rushed and managed to took them out and rushed them to hospital where baby survived while woman died in the incident.
According to the police, sensation prevailed in the area after a woman jumped into the well along with her baby and after the locals spotted the two jumping in the well they rushed to rescue them and with the help of police and locals there were rescued.
The woman was identified as Raksha Meena (22) who married to Sonu in the year 2019 had a child from the marriage and was living with her parents after a fight with Sonu.
On Monday Sonu came to persuade her to take home but she was not willing to return and angered over husband she took her baby and left home and jumped into the well.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
