A 30-year old married woman died while undergoing treatment after consuming poisonous substance near Jhinsi Square late night on Thursday. According to police, Umeda was found in an unconscious state at her residence and was spotted by her husband Shakir Khan. Shakir along with his family members rushed the victim to Charak hospital in Jehagirabad area.
The incident took place at around 8 pm and the woman died around 11 pm. The hospital authorities informed police and subsequently, a police team reached the spot and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. Investigation Officer told that Umedha Khan died during treatment at Charak and on the receipt of the hospital management, police rushed to the hospital. In the initial investigation, her family members have claimed that the victim consumed poisonaccidentally and went unconscious but the reason behind this act is still unknown.
