A 55-year-old woman died while her son escaped with severe injuries after their bike was hit head on by a jeep at Parsora under Nazeerbad police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, the woman identified as Dhanbai Rajput and her son Upendra Singh Rajput sustained severe injuries in the accident and the two were rushed to hospital where she was declared dead while son escaped with injuries.
On the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started further investigation.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the condition of Upendra is reportedly critical as he has sustained multiple injuries in the body and deep injuries in head.
Meanwhile, a 12-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Singhora Village under Nazeerabad police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, Jai Singh Kewat was found in unconscious stated and taken to hospital where she died during treatment.
The body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
Police said that reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained and would be investigated.
