The body of a woman in the age group of 30 years was found at Upper Lake VIP road under Talaiya police station area on Tuesday police has started investigation in this connection.
Police said that locals spotted the body and informed the police. On the receipt of the information, a police team reached the spot. In the initial investigation, police were not able to establish the identity of the deceased.
The woman committed suicide or he was killed and dumped here could not be ascertained as the identity of the deceased is yet to be established. No visible injury marks were found and death occurred around 24 hours ago.
During the investigation, nothing was found to find her identity. Missing complaint regarding the description of the deceased has been searched in the state capital and nearby police stations but still the information regarding the deceased is yet to be received.
In the initial investigation circumstantial evidences found at the spot suggest that the woman committed suicide but to ascertain at the moment in lack of post mortem is not possible and would be revealed in the further investigation.
Meanwhile, a five year baby girl during treatment at a private hospital in Karond after she fell accidentally from his terrace of his house at Purushottam Nagar under Bajaria police station area on January 20.
The injured girl Vibha Sahu was rushed to nearby hospital in an injured state where she died during treatment on Tuesday. Police were informed and after preliminary investigation body was sent for the post mortem.
A case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police and started further investigation.
