It is said that no boundaries are can stop an artist in creating any form of art and same is the case with Kiran’s creations. The exquisiteness of her works lies in giving no colour to her works instead black and white.

Mystery, magic and magnificence of black and white colour can be seen in the oil works of leading artist and poet Kiran Chopra. As many as 34 semi figurative works the artist exhibited in gallery are on display in gallery which is being appreciated by visitors.  Most of her work is in black colour on white surface and it is divided into two parts on different themes by using knife and brush.

The first part of her work based on theme ‘Home with nature’ in which she painted relation of human especially women with nature beautifully in her own style and technique. The tourist spots of Mumbai and its life style has been painted brilliantly in second part which is based on theme ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’.

Moreover, four sculpture works in bronze metal which highlighted women empowerment and nature are also showcased in gallery.

“It is my first painting exhibition in State but have been exhibited many works in art galleries in India as well as aboard.”

On being asked about why do you paint in black colour only, Chopra says, “I love to work in black colour and it also depicts ups and down of my life. There are very few female artists in India who work in black colour. And it is difficult to work in this colour but I enjoyed a lot while painting.”
