We would organize Kisan Yatra in the State if the Government fails to accede to the demands of the farmers and I had supported but not lead the protest which has been wrongly publicised”, said Congress MlA from Rau constituency of Indore Jitu Patwari while speaking with media persons at Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee Headquarters in the state capital on Sunday.
Patwari said that officials were instructed to frame charges against him at any cost but till date the government failed to charge him with false charges as they fear that the farmer protest which was supported by Congress could reveal truth of the claims of benefits and facilities for development of agriculture and farmers.
He claimed that the double digit growth of 20 percent which was misleading as it the figures were true the present situation would never be created.
Harping on the same string of benefits of farmers Shivraj Singh had deceived the farmers emotionally during his tenure. It is not a protest of hooligans or Congress but it is the protests of present generation of farmers who are young sons of farmers burdened with heavy loans and have faced tough situations due to season or bumper crop.
