This raksha bandhan is little different for 27-year-old Shilpi Shukla of Mhow, as she has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking justice for her husband Manish Shukla who was posted as draftsman in Mhow Cantonment Board.
In the letter whose copy has also been sent to the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Shilpi has said that her husband has been suspended two years ago without giving any reason. She claimed that in the past two years, she has approached almost all the official of the Cantonment board, but they failed to give any documentary proof as why Manish Shukla has been suspended.
Shilpi has urged the Prime Minister and Defence Minister that they should get the matter investigated and take action against the guilty officials. She stated that this was an appeal to the brothers from a sister.
Shilpi shukla told that she has been continuously asking the cause of the suspension of her husband for two years and the cantonment board official are not giving any documental proof of his husband’s suspension but cantonment board officials tell them that the investigation is going on.
Shilpi Shukla requested the Prime Minister and Defense Minister that a special team should be sent from Delhi so the truth can come up and an investigation should be done about her husband’s suspension
Shilpi Shukla urged the prime minister Narendra Modi that due to the illegal suspension of her husband her family consisting of husband, two children, and old father and mother in laws who are sick and bed ridden are leading a miserable life as she is unable to arrange for food, fees of her children and medicines for her old father and mother in law.
