The reality of virtual world is being displayed through paintings in an exhibition by Yashwant Singh at Rangdarshini Gallery, Bharat Bhawan.
Evoking a great response the solo painting exhibition is extended for five days which was scheduled to end on June 29. The exhibition will be open till Friday.The art lovers were astonished to look at the abstract art in a solo painting exhibition put up by a noted artist Yashwant Singh. The exhibition is organised by Roopabh series of fine arts Bharat Bhavan, the exhibition began here from June 22. With 18 paintings Singh has beautifully showcased the world of technology over canvas.
While talking about the extension of exhibition, Yashwant Singh said, “The people of Bhopal took the pleasure to watch the real face of virtual reality which I have displayed through my paintings. I have painted about the contemporary situation of the society on canvas and have added almost all the possible boons and curse of virtual world” he added.
He further said, “The exhibition gained a pretty good response by the viewers so, it was a good idea to put up the exhibition with an extension with five more days.”While talking about his works, he said, “These days we see increasing cases of cyber crime and which is affecting the life of the pepple. Moreover, there was an era when children played in parks and garden, they could feel the fresh air, but with the launch of new computerized games their childhood is effected,” said Singh. He further said, “I chose this theme to highlight my perception that everything in excess can be harmful.”
Elaborating more he said, “Technology has become an integral part of our life and without it we cannot even think of a single work to be done. According to me this is creating a disastrous situation for the young generation.”
Singh with the use of his artistic approach has carved out an important message for the masses to understand the real face of the technology wonderfully illustrated in another version of abstract art. His creations is being highly appreciated by the viewers as they walk-through the gallery. The highly versatile and aesthetic perception of the creations of the artist has enabled the viewers to touch most profound depths of the concept.
