PNS

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that welfare of the poor is the highest priority of the Government. Everyone should strive collectively with dedication to make Madhya Pradesh number one state in the country in all areas including development and public welfare in the new year.

Providing services to the public in a time-limit without any give and take is the basic mantra of good governance, which we have to ensure in the state. For this, maximum utilization of technology is must. A good feedback system has to be prepared in the state.

Our administration will be as gentle as a flower for gentlemen and harsher than the thunderbolt for the wicked.

Addressing ministers and senior officials through video conferencing in Mantralaya, Chief Minister Chouhan, told about the sources and priorities of the government. He also wished everyone a happy new year.

Stating the 12 key points of administration, Chief Minister Chouhan said, that our first Sutra is that the public is our God. No one should harbour ego and should work for the service and betterment of the people.

The second sutra is - the poor have the first right over Madhya Pradeshs treasury. Top priority should be given to the welfare of the poor.

Development of farmers and agriculture is our third important point. Work must be done constantly to reduce the cost of production of crops and to ensure that farmers get better prices for their crops. Special efforts have to be made in the field of food processing and agricultural infrastructure development in the state.

The fourth sutra is – Women Empowerment. We have to empower women economically, socially and academically and give them full respect and protection. Women self-help groups have to empowered. We have brought the Freedom of Religion Bill 2020 for protection of girls.

The fifth sutra is to provide good governance in the state, under which services can be provided to the public in a fixed time frame without having to to run around offices and without any give and take.

The sixth sutra is to free the state from mafia. Intense campaign will continue in the state against drug mafia, adulteration mafia, land mafia, sand mafia etc. Also, full care will be taken to ensure that the common man does not face any problem. No innocent person should be implicated in a false case.

The seventh sutra is - to complete projects on time. For this, I will review big schemes every week, ministers should also review regularly. Officers should ensure quality of work. Projects should be completed without cost over time.
