As a part of the Human Resource Development Day, a week-long celebration was programmed which concluded the other day with HRD Council Meet.
Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director, BHEl, Bhopal was present as the chief guest while Sarvesh Chaturvedi, General Manager (HR) presided over the programme. All General Managers, DROs and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Prasad in his address shared a lot of valuable suggestions, encouraging HRDC to organise more technical programme and assessing training needs of the employees with the help of feedback from product managers.
He also presented prizes to engineer trainees on successful completion of the training programme 'Dakshta'. Earlier, Chaturvedi welcomed the gathering in the council meet. He said that HRD week has been celebrated with various competitions and events held during the week.
Quiz competition, essay competition, training coordinators meet and prize distribution to the winners comprised the programme for the week.I Soreng, DGM (HRD), made a presentation on the HRD activities. The agenda of the meeting were discussed after the presentation in which GMs contributed vastly to improvements in training and development focusing more on technical training programme to be organised at HRD. The vote of thanks was given by Swagata S Saxena, Senior Manager (HRD). The programme was anchored by senior engineer (HRD), Hariom Piple.
