Chief Secretary Sajal Chakraverty, commenting on the killing of Vishal, said that it is definitely an achievement for the State police, but “at the same time a heavy loss for us as a youth of the State who got diverted from the mainstream, met with a worthless ‘sacrifice’.
"If this man had lost his life in 'Kargil' like war for the country, his body would have been wrapped in the national flag, saluted by all of us," said Chakraverty.
