Burglars made away with booty of Rs8 lakh including Rs1.49 lakh in cash from Indraprastha Colony under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Wednesday. According to the police, the victim the Kanhiyalal Gyanchandani along with his family had gone to Bairagarh to meet his brother-in-law at around 10 pm. When the victim returned after two hours, he found that the house was ransacked. It was found that gold ornaments, silver coins and Rs1.49 lakh in cash were missing.
He immediately approached police and lodged a complaint with the Koh-e-Fiza police. The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC.
